Worth knowing: Spitfire Audio's LABS plugin and LABS+ plan are being sunset on 31 October 2026; their content now lives in Splice INSTRUMENT and labs.spitfireaudio.com redirects to Splice. Existing LABS installs keep working but get no updates or support.
Splice INSTRUMENT is a sample-based instrument plugin with a free tier of several hundred presets and monthly free drops. Since Splice bought Spitfire Audio in 2025 it has become the home of the LABS library, importing installed LABS packs on first launch; premium and LABS+ packs need a paid plan.
